Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings, tips trimmed and separated at the joint
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Asian chili paste
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 ½ teaspoons hoisin sauce
  • sesame seeds
  • 1 chopped green onion

Directions

Marinate the chicken wings in the soy sauce, ginger, garlic and chili paste, stirring often for 15 minutes. Grill, covered, over medium heat, turning often until golden (10-15 minutes). Combine honey and hoisin sauce. Using pastry brush, generously glaze wings and continue to grill, turning as glaze startes to caramelize, about 5 minutes more. Don't burn the glaze. Transfer to a platter and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and green onions.
