• 1 ¾ cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 ¾ cups milk
  • ½ cup canola oil
  • 3 egg whites


Mix flour, baking powder and salt in mixing bowl. Make a well in the center.
In another bowl beat egg yolks and stir in milk and oil. Beat egg whites to form stiff peaks. Stir egg yolk mixture all at once into dry mixture and stir until just moistened. It will be lumpy. Gently fold in egg whites leaving a few fluffs of egg white. Do not overmix. Spoon batter into heated waffle iron making sure not to overfill. Bake each waffle 4-5 minutes.
