Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ pound ground chuck
  • 4 slices bread
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • ¼ onion, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • ½ cup catsup
  • cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • ¼ teaspoon allspice
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • 6 thin slices lemon

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°. In large bowl, combine ground chuck, bread, lemon juice, onion, egg and salt. Mix well and shape into 6 individual loaves; place in a greased 13" x 9" pan. Bake 15 minutes.
In small bowl, combine remaining ingredients except lemon slices. Cover loaves with sauce and top each with a lemon slice. Back 30 minutes basting occasionally.
