Ingredients
- ½ cup flour
- ½ cup packed light brown sugar
- ½ cup butter, divided
- ½ cup coarsely chopped pecans
- ¼ cup golden raisins
- ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 5 bartlett pears, peeled, cored and sliced
- 2 tablespoon brandy
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°, Combine flour, brown sugar, and 6 tablespoons of butter until the mixture is the consistency of coarse meal. Stir in raisins, pecans and chocolate chips. Place pears in a 2 quart baking dish. Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and mix with brandy. Pour this mixture over the pears; toss until coated. Sprinkle on the topping. Bake until pears are soft (30-40 minutes). Serve warm.
(When I made this I didn't put in the chocolate chips. It was fine without them. I also think you could use rum instead of brandy.)
