Two Melon Soup


  • 1 cantaloupe, seeded and diced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 small honeydew melon, seeded and diced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 ½ teaspoons fresh mint leaves, minced


In a blender, puree cantaloupe with lemon juice. Transfer the mixture to a container and refrigerate 3 hours. Rinse blender and puree honeydew with lime juice and mint. Put in another container and chill 3 hours. At serving time, put purees into two pitchers with spouts. With one pitcher in each hand, simultaneously pour equal amounts into individual serving bowls. A cool, yin yang thing happens.
