Seafare Imperial Crab

Ingredients

  • 1 lb backfin crab
  • 1 ½ tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • diced green pepper
  • snipped chives
  • chopped pimento
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 cup coarsely rolled cracker crumbs

Method

Combine first five ingredients; add pepper, pimento, chives. Blend lightly and put into casserole or crab shells. Combine paprika and cracker crumbs; sprinkle over crab mixture. Pour 1/2 inch water into shallow baking pan; place crab casserole or shells into pan. Bake at 350 about 15 minutes or until golden brown. Makes four servings.
