Brownie Mint Sundae Squares


  • 1 (19.5 or 19.8-ounce, family size) package fudge brownie mix
  • ¾ cup coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 teaspoons peppermint extract
  • 4-6 drops green food coloring, optional
  • 2 cups whipping cream, whipped
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips
  • Hot fudge sauce or chocolate flavored syrup


Prepare brownie mix as package directs; stir in walnuts. Turn into aluminum foil lined and greased 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake as directed. Cool thoroughly.

In large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, peppermint extract and food coloring (optional). Fold in whipped cream and chocolate chips. Spoon over brownie layer.

Cover; freeze 6 hours or until firm. To serve, lift from pan with foil; cut into squares. Serve with hot fudge sauce (optional). Freeze leftovers.
